Kate Daugherty

"Exploring the world, one line at a time." In her work, Kate studies patterns and connections between things that may seem to have no obvious relation at all. The chaos of modern life, and the beauty inherent in its apparent randomness, is a reoccurring theme throughout her portfolio. Memories of intimate spaces and deep friendships around the world serve as the fuel for her work. Also a trained architect, Kate has exhibited in Chicago, São Paulo, and Berlin, as well as her hometown of Pittsburgh.
